About Me

My name is Leslee Strohman, MS, LPC. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Families Studies from the University of Missouri, and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Central Missouri. My passion is working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am passionate about working with parents/caregivers to discover healthier ways to connect and interact with one another while balancing structure, boundaries, and nurture. 

I practice with a client-centered approach that balances validation and support while challenging you to continue to grow and work toward goals. I have worked with a wide range of clients and utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, (TF-CBT) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy and Theraplay.  I look forward to working together to reach your goals and becoming a better you!
